Wedding - Alicia and Matt

This week's wedding was held again at Valle Vista in Greenwood, I'm starting to see a trend here.
Alicia and Matt are a great couple and we've had so much fun working with them. We had the pleasure of shooting their engagement photos last November up in Anderson. As I recall, it was quite cool that day but they both put up with all our suggestions for posing and never complained. Now, fast forward to this past Saturday and it was anything but cool---the temperature that is. The wedding was very cool. The least of which was Alicia and Matt's first dance---wow! I thought we were on the set of "Dancing With The Stars". It's a little difficult to show all the moves using still images but I'm sure you will agree it was a very special dance. Starved Rock Mini-Vacation

We didn't have a wedding to shoot this weekend so I thought it might be good to get away for a few days. We traveled to northern Illinois where hiking is a popular sport at the Starved Rock State Park. Actually there are approximately 13 miles of hiking. Although we didn't hike it all, we did see a good part of the trails. With all the rains we've had in the Midwest, the canyon waterfalls were flowing and made for some really nice photos. It also made for some muddy trails and plenty of mosquitos for everyone---it was fun though. We stayed at the lodge in the state park which was very nice and the food was great! Here are a few highlights of the trails we hiked. Well, I suppose I should get back to work now...

Wedding - Samara and Andrew

This past Sunday we had the great pleasure of photographing Samara and Andrew as they started a new chapter in their lives together. I think they are very lucky to have found each other. Their wedding was also held at Valle Vista in Greenwood, Indiana. When you shoot a lot of weddings at one venue, it's always a challenge to come up with new ideas and different angles so each wedding has it's own unique look. Of course, every wedding is different and hopefully we have captured Samara and Andrew's own special day in a way that reflects their personalities. Wedding - Tamara and Michael

This past weekend we had great weather, perfect temperature, a stunning bride and handsome groom, delicious food, and a great location to shoot at (Valle Vista); what more could a photographer ask for. Well, I could think of one thing. Accompanying Tamara and big Mike on their trip to Hawaii certainly would have been fun---maybe someday. Wedding - Katie and Chad

This week we have Katie and Chad's wedding to show you. A small wedding with simple surroundings but for those that participated, it was a great time! Mostly family and close friends attended to give their support for the newly weds. Everyone that gets married is (hopefully) in love, but it's been a while since I've seen two people this much in love. We had the opportunity to shoot an engagement session for Katie and Chad last October and they were just as much in love back then. I have no doubt they will grow old together.
